Enchanted Garden Shop Boutique, Florist and Counseling Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Grass Valley, California. This policy explains what information we collect on enchantedgardenshop.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It doesn’t cover our separate florist ordering storefront at enchantedgardenshopflorist.com, which has its own privacy policy, or other third-party sites we link to.
Information We Collect
Information You Give Us
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject, and message when you write to us through the Contact page.
- Vendor spot requests: your business name, email, phone number, product or service description, price range, website if you have one, and why you’d like to participate, submitted through the vendor form on the Events page.
- Class signups: your first name, last name, email address, and phone number when you register for an Art Design Class.
- Payment information: when you pay for a class through PayPal, PayPal processes your payment directly. We never see or store your full card or bank account number. We do receive confirmation that a payment was completed or failed, along with a PayPal transaction reference.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data through Google Analytics, such as page views, general location based on IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site, so we can understand how visitors use it.
- Standard technical and security data collected by Cloudflare, our hosting and content delivery provider, such as IP address and request logs, used to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors, and PayPal may set its own cookies when its checkout widget loads on the class signup page. We don’t use cookies for advertising or to build profiles about you across other websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect how the class checkout works.
How We Use Your Information
- Respond to messages sent through the contact form.
- Process and confirm class signups, including sending confirmation emails.
- Review and follow up on vendor spot requests.
- Process class payments securely through PayPal.
- Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- Meet legal and accounting obligations as a nonprofit organization.
Who We Share Information With
We don’t sell your information. We share it only as needed to run the site and our programs, with:
- Resend, the email service we use to deliver messages from the contact and vendor forms to our inbox.
- PayPal, to process class payments and donations.
- Google Analytics, to measure site traffic.
- Cloudflare, our website hosting and security provider.
- Law enforcement or other parties, only if required by law.
Data Retention
We keep class signup and vendor request records for as long as needed to run our programs and meet our recordkeeping obligations as a nonprofit, then delete or archive them. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you.
Your Choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at info@enchantedgardenshop.com. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we’ll do our best to help if you reach out.
Children’s Privacy
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including sending it over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
