Meet Mark Turansky

Mark Turansky, CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor), is the Clinical Director and owner of New Horizons, a Professional Counselor with over three decades of experience helping others with addiction challenges, relationship difficulties, anger management needs, and overall life coaching.
New Horizons Counseling, established in 1980, is a nationally recognized program that uses a cognitive approach for teaching individuals to make constructive, rather than destructive, choices around drinking, drugs, or substance abuse. New Horizons is listed on the official SAMHSA (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) registry.
Mark is the author of Figure It, Face It, Fix It, a guide to overcoming addiction and substance abuse. You’ll find him fun-loving, informal, easy going, and great to work with. Mark’s unique insights will challenge you to think differently about your challenges as he coaches you to choose a positive perspective of happiness, peace, and joy.
